When did you start your website and why?

December 2006 to give advice to fellow webmasters on how to correctly use Google Adsense in order to make and build a source of income online.

Please give us a short summary of your website, business model, etc

The site is a blog that teaches users ins and outs of using Google Adsense. I have google adsense setup on the site as well as some clickbank links to monetize the site.

What has been the most difficult part of creating and running your website?

Promoting and getting publicity for the site

What has been the easist past of operating your website?

Design, content and updates and dealing with user questions etc.

What was your biggest mistake?

Expecting quick massive returns

Who maintains your website and why?

I maintain it myself because at the moment I cannot afford to hire someone.

Tell us how your business has benefitted from your website?

I'm beginning to build a brand.

What are your views on ecommerce and the future of the internet?

The world has already changed the way it does business. I believe that in future, ecommerce and internet will be a vital part of the way Africa as a whole does business.

What are your views on Search Engine Optimization (SEO)?

It is a brilliant concept however, one needs to strike a balance when using SEO in terms of compromising content for the user in order to rank well in the search engines.

What are your views on Search Engines? Have they helped or hindered your website?

I believe search engines have greatly helped my site and they do for all sites otherwise why do we build sites?

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

Joining blog communities and forums.

What method has been least successful for promoting your website?

Not sure yet.

What would you like to see change with respect to the internet?

Security of users still has long way to go. There are constantly phishing activities taking place as users connect to the web, theft of affiliate IDs, IPs, hijacking of packets etc.
