Zenn Media develops professional websites and manages our clients Internet presence ensuring our clients focus is our top priority. This sounds nice but what does all that really mean? We do everything from writing and developing your message to creating your logo and graphics. We approach every project with the same attitude, “If it is worth doing, then it is worth doing well.”
What inspired you to launch your own website?
I started Zenn Media for one simple reason, quality. Whether you are hunting for a Website Design, a Web Developer, Internet Advertising, Internet Marketing Company or a Search engine Optimization expert Zenn Media is your answer. We pride our self on crossing all the t’s and dotting all the i’s before we finish a project, this includes Meta Tags, Alt Tags, key-wording all of your content and installing the full Google Suite of tools to manage and learn from your website.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
The first website we built was 3 years ago for a small recruiting firm in Calgary, and looking back we have come a long way.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
It just came to me while I was trying to go to sleep.
What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?
Our website has a large, human edited database of information for small business owners looking for answers to web related questions.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
To build a community oriented web design and development firm in Calgary that produces top quality, dynamic and complete websites for a good value.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
We have had an amazing response from the local area, already have completed 2 projects and we have five more just starting this week.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
More video and flash, and some kewl time wasters like darts with motherboards" after all who doesn't want to smash a computer once in a while?
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
Yes we are a dedicated team of experts that can handle a large flow of traffic and responses.
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
Hmmm, sorry to disappoint, but we have not had any.
What has been your biggest challenge?
Figuring out our 30 second pitch for our service, because we can so so many things, but clients only want to hear what is important to them.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
manual submissions like this one, and of course handing out business cards and making sales calls.
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
We have had a much better response from local business owners calling to get quotes on fixing up their site.
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
We put www.ZennMedia.com up in March, and it will be up as long as we are in business.
