Please give us a short summary of your website?
At Resolve, we do much more than design your website. We build your online visibility with an engaging web presence that meets the needs of your visitors and your business. Your site's effectiveness is our top priority and we'll guide you every step of the way.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
I worked with other web design firms that did good design work but didn't help their clients achieve their business goals. I wanted to create a company that truly focused on our clients needs.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
I launched an online art gallery in 1996. It turned into a nonprofit organization and the site is still online: http://www.queer-arts.org
How did you decide on a name for your website?
We liked the word "resolve" because it suggests that we can solve problems, combined with the word "digital" which suggests web/new media.
What makes it different from other, similar offerings?
Our specific focus on professional service firms, especially those in the building and construction industry such as architects and interior designers.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
This has been my full-time job since 2001, and we now are a team of five people scattered from Baltimore MD to Christchurch NZ.
What has been your biggest challenge?
We are constantly trying to better understand our target market and provide the information and resources they need. In our business, it isn't so much about trying to "sell." For us, sharing knowledge is the key factor in selling our professional services.
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
We launched our first site in 2001 and just launched the 4th generation site at the end of 2007.
