Name of your website?

brianduffy.net

Your name?

Brian Dufyf

Your Location (city, etc)

Backpacking around New Zealand

Please give us a short summary of your website?

I sell ludicrously cheap website solutions for small businesses. You can read about what I offer on my site and choose to purchase my software online if you like. the software is the website plus the tool to update it and is worth in excess of $3000. I'm seling at 80% off because I'm a broke backpacker! : )

What inspired you to launch your own website?

I needed extra cash to finance my travels around Australia and NZ so decided to sell my websites which are normally far more expensive.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

Launched about 4 years ago but started selling websites online around september 2007. I'm new!

How did you decide on a name for your website?

Easy. Its my name!

What makes it different from other, similar offerings?

It's dirt cheap but the big difference is: there's no bills.

Once you pay the small upfront payment- it's hosted for free. Nobody else offers that because softawr companies generate consdtant income by sending out monthly bills to everyone FOR NO REASON

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

To sell sites and drink lots of beer in new zealand (..and jump off lots of bridges)

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

I enjoy web design so I dont mind. So far. the time has out weighed the money thats for sure

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

dont know

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

Yes

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

Nothing. Just time. I did all the work myself!

What has been your biggest challenge?

starting

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

word of mouth

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

Tougher to get up the gogle rankings thatI anticipated

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

4 years

What is your website address?
