Well, vishwebdesign.com is my home on the internet.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
I've chosen it as a way to show my friends and family what i'm doing. What's a web designer without his own website?;-) I want to share my views with people. vishwebdesign is only one of the ways i chose to express the love i have for my profession.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
I launched my site on 3rd of october. And it was only 1 page with a contact form where people could leave a message for me. It's still 1 page with a contact form, but not for long, I'm working out on the concept, etc..
How did you decide on a name for your website?

What makes it different from other, similar offerings?
Whatever you may think makes it similar to others, makes it different.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
I want to know where i've reached and where i have to go. I started in the job market last year. All i wanted was to do a job i love. I still have the same wish. There's no politics or financial reason to it.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
Time and money is 1 thing. Success is another. I'm not money-minded enough to be able to find a balance between these fings. I only know that i work hard and try my best to do things correctly. I'm satisfied about how the things are going right now.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm..many things :-)
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
I don't believe vishwebdesign will get big enough for me not to be able to handle it anymore. I've coped with many difficulties in the past, so i don't expect to get anything easily. But to every problem, there's a solution.
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
Unexpected costs happen very often when one doesn't plan something well beforehand. I know what i'm doing, and i know it's not going to be that troublesome :-)

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
i'll know when the results are out :-)
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
There's still time before i can answer this question
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
i'm not aiming big gains in traffic,etc. I'm doing this for myself, so i'll do my best keep it up and running. Still, vishwebdesign is going to have very fair ratings on search engines :-)
