What inspired you to launch your own website?

It's the best way to show clients my business.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

Must have been in 2003-2004. The URL was: http://photopaste.com. Somebody else boughjt the domain after I gave it up.

How did you decide on a name for your website?

It's a natural name for my service

What makes it different from other, similar offerings?

I'm a designer - we're all different.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

This is my new career. I plan on using this for as long as I live.

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

So far, I've gotten 3 jobs off of it - since June 2007.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

Wouldn't

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

No - I'd have to refer them elsewhere

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

Setting up a new computer when mine crashed.

What has been your biggest challenge?

The whole learning curve to web design. SEO is really tough.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

searchestate.com, linkshare.com, and several web design directories

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

It's fabulious!

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

About 3 months - I ain't quitting this.
