Social media has been used by some businesses before to improve their visibility. Some were successful, some were not. However, it remains to be a rather confusing advertising model that makes it difficult for businesses to assess the worth of a certain social networking website.
There is a problem with establishing the metrics of social media. This is something that needs to be assessed if we want social media to attract more businesses.
