Network neutrality is among those principles that large companies such as Google, Microsoft, and Yahoo! have tried to defend. According to this principle, all traffic should be equal. Nobody should cross the line.
Quietly, however, these defenders are moving to the other side. For instance, Google, which has long defender of network neutrality, asked cable and phone companies if it can have a fast lanes for its own content.
