Benchmark Internet Group Review

I received what seems to be a standard "form letter" link exchange request spam email from the Benchmark Internet Group. Normally these emails get a big F. Y. as they are usually completely untargeted and make a claim that they "liked my site" which sometimes is a contradiction to the exchange request!

This letter wasn't quite that bad, though it seemed to just cut and paste the website title so its probably a pretty much automated email.

I decided to send a nice email in reply, suggesting that they can submit their site directly to the directory(ies) on our site(s) and even post as a guest writer in our relevant blog(s).

The first advantage here is they would get one way links (unless they voluntarily decided to do a return link. The second advantage with the blog posts is that not only do they get a one way link(s), but they can provide a much more creative piece to promote their site.

In response I got some crap about 3 way links. My response went off the chart and I used my favoriate movie line: "Are you out of your f---ing mind?".

I have no idea how satifised the customers of Benchmark Internet Group may be, but as one in charge of various websites I can't stand their promotional methods.

There's no excuse for sending a link exchange email like this one, and especially not when referring to a page that is a directory and contains an add url link on it!

I vote no.

You are out of your f---ing mind. What I actually offerred you was one way links that you are in complete control of instead of spamming me with bulls--it link exchange requests.

One way links from 3 different sites at that!

The ONLY request I made of you was not to send me stupid emails and to use the features on our websites to make your own links, ie: our directories and/or blogs.
