There are many myths on the Net telling us how will we perform well in the search pages. One of them is that you should get as many links as you can.
At first glance, this may be very true. That's why link farms are still around. But, to tell you the truth, quantity does not matter much in SEO. It's the quality that counts. What kind of websites point to yours? Will they be helpful or are they merely link farms adding to the congestion on the Web?
