Please give us a short summary of your website, business model, etc
My website is an ecommerce website set up for ordering SEO & website marketing products and services directly from the site plus is a resource centre for individuals, businesses and webmasters with free information on all aspects of developing a website and going live.
All SEO services are hands on preparation and manual submissions for clients with the aim of effectively promoting and marketing their products & websites online and to give them a competitive advantage on the Internet.
What has been the most difficult part of creating and running your website?
I had a great design team who built also built my other website www.sabujewellery.com so the design process was easy and streamlined. Probably the most difficult part was waiting for the back end programming to be completed and waiting for the site to go live.
What has been the easist part of operating your website?
The site has a great backend control panel for complete content management so making up to the minute changes is easy and creates fresh content for visitors all the time.
What was your biggest mistake?
Can't say that I have made any yet, perhaps underestimating the development time.
Who maintains your website and why?
I maintain my own website content and my website design company, Head4design, complete all web hosting and any technical programing requirements.
Tell us how your business has benefitted from your website?
The core business is internet service related so there is no better way to promote these than with my own website on the Internet.
What are your views on ecommerce and the future of the internet?
E-commerce is the rapidly changing face of international business and can only get bigger and will most likely become the main avenue of trade for many small to medium sized businesses. With my online Sabu Jewellery business it has opened up trade opportunities nationally for us across Australia and we regularly export our products to the UK, NZ, Ireland, Canada, USA, Malaysia, Denmark, Iceland and more. Ecommerce will also create a boom in home based businesses negating the need for physical retail outlets for many businesses.
What are your views on Search Engine Optimization (SEO)?

Search engines are brilliant, lets face it without how would anyone have found our website's online. You have to apply consistent effort with SEO & website marketing on a daily or weekly basis for the first 5 months of your website going live. If you know the basic principles and techniques of SEO & website marketing then the least successful way of promoting your website will be just sitting there doing nothing and expecting high rankings on the major search engines and good online sales - it just doesn't happen!
What would you like to see change with respect to the internet?
Less spamming, let's set up some serious penalties for all those spammers out there and the businesses employing them who think making a quick buck out of sending unsolicited emails to everyone on the net is helping anyone, individuals and businesses alike. Seriously if they could regulate the spamming practices of the online pharmaceutical businesses then 95% of our spam would disappear instantly!
