ConteMedia provides such services as website design, graphic design, SEO (Search Engine Optimization), brochure development, business cards, ticket printing and much more at affordable prices
What inspired you to launch your own website?
Conte Media was founded in 2005 by Chadwick & Chrissy Conte of Detroit, Michigan. Offering a wide range of services ranging from business card printing to website design. Our main focus is Michigan Website Design and S.E.O. services, but we also have many clients outside the Michigan area. Choosing a company that has expert knowledge in both areas is extremely important & crucial to your Internet presence.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
I chose to use combine my last name, and the word media. The word media can apply to so many things, I didn't want to limit myself in the future.
What makes it different from other, similar offerings?
Effortless transition to promoting your business on the web. Our approach is to present all of the options to the client and then aid them making a decision. Since most clients are new to the internet they rely on our experience to guide them. But we make sure they understand the reason why we guide them in a certain direction.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
Our goal is to be the media company in Michigan people/businesses think of using first.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
I've said this so many times before that if your not passionate about what you do, you should find something else. In order to be successful at anything you need to work as hard as possible.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
I would and am looking into adding a section of the website that talks more about the SEO business, and tricks that can be used to improve search engine rankings.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
Yes, we would be able to keep up with the demand, by at first branching out to other providers we currently do business with. Then we would start to search for more employees as needed.
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
The hardest part is explaining to a client what is necessary to be done to their website, when they don't fully understand the Internet, and how it works.
What has been your biggest challenge?
I have had to overcome my fear of not being able to accomplish something that a client asks. I know welcome this challenge with open arms, and always find a solution.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
Word of mouth referrals is what drives Conte Media. Conte Media has solely relied on the internet as way to promote our business.
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
It's everything I imagined and more..
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
