This is especially true with the use of an off-the-box content management system (CMS). A CMS lets you create, edit and publish your site’s content the way you want even with little html skills.

What’s equally interesting is that many of the best CMSs around are open-source and free for everyone to use. There is the popular Joomla (formerly Mambo), the simple but powerful Drupal (my personal favorite), and the interesting phpWCMS, PHP-Nuke, Post-Nuke, phpWebSite, Xoops, Typo3, Siteframe Geeklog and several others that are also very promising in terms of power and utility.
