Microsoft had filed a $750,000 law suit against three individuals named Eric Lam, Gordon Lam and Melanie Suen from Vancouver, British Columbia. The three were allegedly deprived Microsoft of potential online advertising revenue by click fraud. In a blog post by the associate general counsel of Microsoft Tim Cranton, he said that click fraud had attacked online advertising that involves auto insurance and even the Warcraft online game.
